I have started this PBwiki in the hope that CHR students will find EL lessons more interesting and engaging than just sitting in class learning English.
First, the question that everyone is dying to but dare not ask ...
What in the world is a wiki?
Here goes. A wiki, as in PBwiki, is an online document or a webpage that can be edited by every and any one (eaao) who views the website. BTW, the word “wiki” means “quick” in Hawaiian. So in a sense, all the wiki pages are shared by eaao who is given the magic password to access the wiki, and they can edit any of the pages in a wiki … of course you need me to give you the magic password to my wiki :) It is an unspoken agreement that eaao given the privilege of the magic password must not edit or erase any other person’s work unless permission is given.

This one is good if you disregard the formal grammatical terminology.
On-line Exercises :
Summarizing and note-taking on-line exercises
Note that there is no 'dot' after www. It's seems to be either deliberately left out or an error not spotted.
For Teachers
Errors in Sentence Construction
Good reference for teachers; mind-boggling for students!!
Something inspirational for teachers. You've read this, I'm sure ... now hear it on YouTube!
BTW, this is a good blog for teachers too.
This site suggests various strategies that can be used in the classroom.
This author discusses good writing in a very readable style.
Seems like a comprehensive site on EL. Haven't got time to look through it all yet.
